Charlevoix, Canada

Charlevoix follows the north shore of the St. Lawrence east of Quebec City, a UNESCO biosphere reserve of rolling mountains, river villages and farm-to-table cooking. Baie-Saint-Paul draws artists and food lovers, La Malbaie has welcomed summer visitors since the nineteenth century, and whales gather in the estuary from late spring to autumn.

Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu

A French-château resort of 405 rooms on a headland above the St. Lawrence at La Malbaie, with a 27-hole golf course, Moment Spa and the Casino de Charlevoix next door.

Le Germain Charlevoix Hotel & Spa

A farm-inspired retreat on the St. Lawrence shore at Baie-Saint-Paul, with rooms spread across rural pavilions, a Nordic spa, open-kitchen dining and a herd of Highland cattle.
