Valle de Guadalupe, Mexico

Valle de Guadalupe, a dry, sunlit valley inland from Ensenada in Baja California, is the heart of Mexican wine country and one of the country's great food destinations. Some 90 minutes south of the US border, it mixes family wineries and bold architecture of reclaimed wood, steel and stone with open-fire restaurants, olive groves and boutique hotels among the vines.
